Jackpots are available in select slots at DoubleDown Casino. Super & Mega Jackpots are an exciting chance at the biggest wins ever.
To play for the Super or Mega Jackpot, simply place a qualifying bet. Because the jackpots pay out so high (10,000,000, 100,000,000 chips, or even more!), lower line bets do not qualify for the win. When you enter the slot, choose a line bet that allows you to spin for the ultimate win. Make sure you also bet the maximum number of lines; no matter which line bet you have chosen, all paylines must be played to qualify for these jackpots.
When you play for the Mega Jackpot, your spins are also qualified for the Super Jackpot. Before spinning, look at the banners displaying the jackpot types and amounts. If either is grayed out and has a red X beside it, your spins do not qualify for that jackpot level. When they are both full-color and have green check marks beside them, you could hit either jackpot with any spin!

How do I win?
These jackpots are not dependent on the outcome on the slot reels below. There is a separate visual indicator for the Super & Mega Jackpots outcome.
After each qualifying slot spin, the Jackpot spin will occur. If 4 orange symbols hit, you will win the Super Jackpot! If all 5 orange symbols hit, you win the Mega Jackpot!
Only orange symbol combinations award the jackpots.
Please note, jackpots are mutually exclusive. If your bet qualifies you for the Super but not the Mega Jackpot, only a 4 symbol hit awards the Super Jackpot. A 5 symbol hit will only ever pay out a Mega Jackpot, provided you have a qualifying bet.
Mega Jackpots are easier to hit during Jackpot Happy Hour!
On Fridays, enjoy Jackpot Happy Hour, when top jackpots pay out with 1 less symbol! On slots featuring Super & Mega Jackpots, the Mega Jackpot is the top jackpot. This means that while you are playing at a bet level that qualifies you for the Mega Jackpot, you can win that prize with either 4 or 5 symbols!
Note that you must still be playing at the qualifying bet level for Mega Jackpots; if you are playing at a bet level that qualifies for Super but not Mega, 4 symbols will still pay out the Super Jackpot only.
What happens when someone hits the jackpot?
If another player hits the jackpot while you are playing, you will see their avatar on the jackpot logo, and the total will reset to its starting value, then immediately resume its steady growth, so it's ready to pay out again at any time.
There is no minimum amount of time that must pass between jackpot wins--your chances of winning do not change based on when a jackpot was previously hit.
Some slots have Super & Mega jackpots, but other slots refer to jackpots with different names. What is the difference?
There are many different bonus rounds and features in our slots. Some games use the term jackpot to describe a bonus feature. These bonus-style jackpots pay out based on a certain combination of symbols in a specific formation or along a valid payline. Please see the slot's paytable for details on features specific to that slot.
With Super & Mega Jackpots, the pot is independent of the game, growing over time but not based on the bets placed in that slot. For this reason, there is a minimum bet to qualify for the jackpot.
