Several regions have implemented age verification requirements for mobile gaming apps like DoubleDown Casino. - Launch the Settings app on your device.
- Tap on your profile at the top.
- Select Personal Information.
Verify that your birthday is accurate.
Note: Some devices also have a setting called Age Range for Apps in this menu. If you see this option, tap it, and enable access for DoubleDown Casino.
Android
Google Play
- Launch the Google Play Store on your device.
- Tap on your profile at the upper right.
- Select Personal info.
- Select Birthday.
- Verify that your birthday is accurate.
If you are still having trouble, clear your appstore cache:
Go to Settings
Select General or Applications
Choose Application Manager
Find and select Google Play Store in the list of applications.
(Note: you may first have to select Storage depending on your Android version)Choose Force Stop followed by OK
Choose Clear Data followed by OK
Samsung Galaxy App Store
- Launch Galaxy Apps on your Samsung Galaxy device.
- Select Menu at the bottom right, then the gear icon for Settings at the top.
- Select Samsung account, then Profile info.
- Select Date of birth.
- Verify that your birthday is accurate.
If you are still having trouble, clear your appstore cache:
Go to Device Settings or Menu
Select Apps
Choose Galaxy Store
Select Storage
Choose Clear Data
It may be necessary to close and relaunch the appstore and/or DoubleDown Casino to fully resolve this issue. Restarting your device is also a valuable troubleshooting step after a change to your profile or settings.
